How to configure discount subsidies

Configuring discount type subsidies allows you to offer specific price reductions to parents, either as a fixed amount or a percentage off. This guide will walk you through setting up these discounts, applying them to specific items, and managing access via codes, ensuring your subsidy programs run smoothly.

Log into the Menu Manager

  1. Go to the Menu Manager

  2. Enter your credentials and login.

Access subsidy settings

  1. Navigate to "Settings" from the left sidebar.

  2. Select the "Subsidies" tab.

Set up discount type subsidies

  1. From the "Subsidy type" dropdown menu, select "Discount".

  2. If this subsidy is available to all users, enable the "All users" toggle.

  3. Decide the scope of the discount:

    • If the discount applies to all items on the menu, enable the "All items" toggle.

    • If it applies only to meals, ensure this toggle remains off.

  4. Input the dollar amount or the percentage you want to set for the discount.

Set maximum subsidized meals (optional)

  1. To set a maximum number of subsidized meals parents can order per day, uncheck the "No limit" box.

  2. Input the maximum amount of subsidized meals parents can order per day.

Save your subsidy

  1. Click the "Save" button to implement the subsidy.

Manage subsidy codes (If not for “All users”)

  1. If the subsidy is not applicable to all users (i.e., "Enable for all users" is off), input and generate the number of codes needed.

  2. These codes can then be applied in the account settings on the parents' accounts.
